Volunteers needed

As you may be aware, I have been working in Jacmel as NGO coordinator at the airport since January 18th. I am working with MSPP (Dept of Health) and the Health Cluster of the United Nations to help place medical teams in underserviced regions of the southeast. If you have friends that would be interested in volunteering in a hospital or at a mobile clinic, please have them email Marilyn at Jacmelair.volunteer@gmail.com. She will send them a brief introduction of our work and a registration form.

The immediate need for disaster relief is waning and we are now in the Early Recovery phase. Our goal is to augment the Haitian Health Care system and to create mobile teams for difficult to reach areas.

To date we have received over 350 NGO flights and 400+ volunteers through the Jacmel airport.
